Shri Sai Charan Seva Mandal was established in 2005 by Late Shri Bhalchandra Ramdas Tandel. 4 Sai devotees from Kasu went to Shirdi from Dindi of Gadab village. Inspired by that, they shared their thoughts with Bhalchandra Tandel. And Shri Saicharan Seva Mandal was born. First year Shirdi Padyatra begins with 44 Sai devotees. Now its reached to 400. Main goals of Mandal are Sai Shraddha, social awareness and De-addiction.
Mandal arranges padyatra every year in Marathi Month Margashirsha(December). Members are hardworking. With the help of donors and well-wishers, due to good planning and trust in Sai Baba, the journey from Kasu to Shirdi goes smoothly. Many Sai devotees met through the walk. We had great cooperation.
Dindi is a group of Hindu devotees of one caste or village who are part of a larger group going to a holy site on pilgrimage. Many Dindis from our division go to Shirdi but Dindi of Saicharan Seva Mandal is considered as Dindi of Honor. So this Dindi is highly respected everywhere. Hygiene is taken care of everywhere. Shri Sai Charan Seva Mandal is a large group of devotees who visits Shirdi while taking care not to throw any kind of garbage where breakfast, meal is taken or where we all stay.
